Group Stage

Every goal scored by your team earns 1 point

A side scoring five or more goals in a single match will earn 2 points

A side conceding five or more goals in a single match will be deducted 2 points

A win in the Group Stage earns 3 point

A draw in the Group Stage earns 1 point

Each team that wins their group will win 6 points

Each team that finishes second in their group will win 4 points

Each team that finishes third in their group and qualifies for the knock out stage will win 3 points

Each team that finishes third in their group and fails to qualify will win 2 points

Each team that finishes fourth in their group will be deducted 4 points .

Knock Out Stages including the Final  (goals scored in penalty shoot outs do not add to your total)

A win in extra times earns 2 points

A win on penalty kicks earns 1 point

Each team that qualifies for the quarter finals will win 2 bonus points

Each team that qualifies for the semi finals will win 4 bonus points

Each team that qualifies for the for the final will win 6 bonus points

The team who wins the World Cup will be awarded 8 bonus points

Post World Cup Final

Any nation that has lost against the eventual World Cup Winners in any match excluding the Quarter Final , Semi Final or Final will  receive 2 bonus points .

Any nation that drew with the eventual winners in the Group Stage will receive 3 bonus points .

Any nation that defeated the eventual winners in the Group Stage will receive 5 bonus points .
