2025 DARTS WORLD MATCHPLAY CHAMPIONSHIP

All entrants will be required to select one player from each of the six columns (A to F) . Exact prize money will be advised when the final list of entrants has been confirmed , but the format is simple , whoever’s combination of five players scores the most legs wins ,  the tournament begins on Saturday 19^th July and ends on Sunday 27^th July . If , as presumed , the format is same as last year there will be 32 entrants competing on a knock out basis down to the final . The first round (32 players) is contested over the best of 19 legs , the second round (16 players) best of 21 , the quarter finals best of 31 , the semi finals best of 33 legs and the final best of 35 legs . Each match must be won by two clear legs therefore extra legs may be needed to decide a winner , those potential extra legs will be included in everyone’s total score .   

We have seventeen entrants thus far with the cut off period still a few weeks away , if you wish to enter but your name does not appear below simply pay Barry the £15.00 entry fee and you will be added to the competition

Below you will see a sample grid of the groups the plyers have been entered into , remember you must pick one player from each column giving you a team of six for the tournament . The actual qualifying period for the players does not end until the 9th July when the draw for the first round will be advised , follwoing this the list will be finalised officially , so there may well be changes , however columns A , B & C should remain fairly similar to those shown , with changes more likely in the other columns
